The Back Defender is the only concealed duty belt suspension
system available to LEO's. The Back Defender functions like a pair of suspenders. The Difference between
the Back Defender and suspenders is simple: The Back Defender is worn under your duty
shirt and requires no uniform modification.
We have been on the market for 6 months and have sold over 500 Back Defenders across
the nation, we have had four returned (three due to excessive weight gain see FAQ's) since
April 22, 2009.
The Back Defender is the only approved duty belt suspension system for the San Diego P.D.
The Back Defender is required wear for every new recruit and transfering LEO, graduating from the Fort
Worth Police Acdemy. (about 120 new LEO's every year)
